Fairview High School Graduate Wins Undergraduate Mathematics Prize

Hannah Alpert of Boulder has been awarded the 2010 Alice T. Schafer Prize for excellence in mathematics by an undergraduate woman. The annual prize was established in 1990 by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). Currently a University of Chicago junior, Hannah is a graduate of Fairview High School.
