Fairview High School Students Qualify for Mathematical Olympiad

Three Fairview High School students have received invitations to write the 2009 USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO): Charles Xu, Chris Guthrie and Ben Alpert. Only one other Colorado student qualified this year. The rigorous nine-hour USAMO, scheduled for April 28-29, will lead to the selection of the 2009 USA Olympiad Team, which will compete at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Bremen, Germany, in July.
