Whole Foods Exhibit Grand Opening at WOW! Children's Museum
Lafayette, Colorado -- WOW! Children’s Museum (World of Wonder) is pleased to announce that the Museum will be celebrating the grand opening of the Whole Foods Market Exhibit on Saturday, October 31st beginning at 11:00am. Grand opening activities include: exhibit exploration, pumpkin decorating, healthy pizza snacks, refreshments and Halloween crafts. All included with admission to the Museum!
New additions to the exhibit include the following:
• Where do all the ingredients of a pizza come from? Learn how the ingredients make it from the farm to your kitchen.
• Use your senses to experience fresh smells of a supermarket.
• Learn about the importance of recycling.
• Programming about nutrition and gardening.
“Thank you to Whole Foods Market for their generous support of our new market exhibit, gardening activities, and nutrition programs. This collaboration promises to provide many fun and educational activities for our visitors. Our goals include educating families on healthy eating, gardening and preparing nutritious food as well as the benefits of recycling. Whole Foods Market will also be providing nutrition and cooking classes for children at WOW! this winter, thanks to their on-staff nutritionist and chef,” said Lisa Atallah, Executive Director, WOW! Children’s Museum.
