- I am a writer living in Broomfield with my husband, a cancer survivor, and Henry the dog who fills the empty place left by our old Lucky dog who died of cancer last fall. My latest book is--not surprisingly--about cancer. A Caregiver's Story: Coping with a Loved One's Life-Threatening Illness is on sale at Barnes and Noble Westminster. I also volunteer for the Guillain Barre Foundation, having survived that disease in 1997. Tough diseases is the name of my game. Survival through hope.

new novel different slant
I just finished reading Resistance, a novel set in WWII Wales. The author has given the timeline a different twist. The Germans are winning, the Allied Invasion has failed and Britain is about to fall to the Nazis.
